Our core competencies
We specialize in precision machining of medium-sized to large objects -up to appr. 3400 mm-, in precision welding and in the fabrication of objects requiring a combination of both. Products we make
The lion’s share of our work consists of one-off or
(sub-)contracted serial production of OEM and replacement components to client specifications, often demanding tight machining tolerances and featuring complex geometries. DC is widely known and appreciated as a ‘last resort’ supplier for jobs that others can’t or won’t take on. DC Engineering is certified for quality assurance in accordance with ISO 9001.
Ancillary services
In addition to the above we provide various related services, such as repairs of worn or damaged large mechanical components and complete overhauls of large mechanical devices.
Our customer base
The typical DC client may be active in the building, maintenance and/or operation of ships and dredgers, power generation equipment, bulk handling, casting of large objects, the offshore industry (new build, repairs, maintenance of drilling structures; includes FCAW-welded fabrications in accordance with EEMUA 158), (petro)chemical or other processing (includes high-quality FCAW-welded industrial fabrications in accordance with NEN EN ISO 15614-1 and ASME IX), and similar.
